The St. Regis Kanai Resort Riviera Maya is seeking a skilled and attentive server to join our team.
Job Summary
We are committed to delivering exquisite experiences for our guests, and we need someone who can help us achieve this goal. As a server, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages to guests, setting tables according to type of event and service standards, and answering questions about menu selections.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Set tables according to the type of event and service standards to ensure a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer questions about menu selections and provide recommendations to enhance the guest's dining experience.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability to ensure seamless service.
- Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order to maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Knowledge of wine and cocktails is an asset.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
