Role Summary

The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM), an Inspired school, is seeking a highly skilled iPAL Coach to join our team. With over 1,800 students across three campuses, AIM provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop academic plans to support students who struggle in the classroom, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed.
  • Inform and train teachers and parents on learning disabilities and challenges, promoting a collaborative approach to student support.
  • Assess students to identify learning obstacles and provide targeted support to address these challenges.
  • Update teachers and parents on student progress, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned in their support.
  • Provide teachers with resources to support students, promoting learning and intervention strategies.
  • Evaluate and observe gifted and talented students, developing differentiation strategies to support their growth.
  • Apply new student evaluation assessments and support new students and families with the school transition process.
  • Maintain communication with other schools and civil associations, participating in seminars and courses related to the field of work.
Requirements
  • Education in Psychopedagogy, Clinical Psychology, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an educator, learning specialist, or counselor in private schools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to analyze learning obstacles and develop solutions.
  • Knowledge of pedagogical methods, child development principles, and educational philosophies.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Technology-oriented professional with a passion for helping students succeed.
