About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated iPAL Coach to join our team at The American Institute of Monterrey (AIM), an Inspired school. As an iPAL Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting students who struggle in the classroom and ensuring that our academic programs facilitate learning and integral development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop academic plans or frameworks to support students who need extra help.
  • Inform and train teachers and parents about learning disabilities and challenges.
  • Assess students to determine which ones may need additional academic support.
  • Update teachers and parents on the progress of students who are struggling.
  • Provide teachers with resources to support students and promote learning within their classrooms.
  • Evaluate and observe gifted and talented students and develop differentiation strategies.
  • Apply new student evaluation assessments and support new students and families with the school transition process.
  • Maintain constant communication with other schools and civil associations professionals.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Education, Psychopedagogy, or Clinical Psychology, and at least 5 years of experience as an educator, learning specialist, or counselor. The ideal candidate will have sound interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of pedagogical methods, child development principles, and educational philosophies.
