Key Responsibilities- Design and Layout: Translate electrical schematics into detailed layouts used for the creation of fabrication reticles for assigned DRAM products.
- Design Verification: Ensure designs meet all engineering and process-related criteria needed for an assigned DRAM product.
- Logistics and Resource Management: Organize and prioritize logistics and resource allocations to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Methodology Development: Proactively develop methodologies for issue resolution.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work with Design and other engineering groups to apply multiple layout techniques for the design and verification of digital and analog circuits.
- Technical Expertise: Use computer-aided design software (i.e. Cadence, Calibre, etc.) and develop and maintain technical knowledge in layout methodology, fab processes (including DFM and OPC), and tapeout processes and procedures.
- Leadership and Guidance: Guide layout designers to encourage professional and technical development.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong skills in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as Cadence and Calibre.
- Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design and verification protocols, understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, and experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Optical Proximity Correction (OPC) is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and strong motivation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
