About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Specialist to join our team at Johnson & Johnson in Juarez, Mexico. As a key member of our Medical Devices Companies, you will play a critical role in providing accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis to influence business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Presents monthly financial reports and related analyses to business partners, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Completes financial planning process, builds and reviews financial models, and supports senior analysts with highly sophisticated research and analysis and analytical projects.
  • Performs department expense and capital budgeting, tracking, reporting, month end, and quarter close expenses and costs.
  • Reviews monthly closing and provides reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Presents ad hoc analyses and presentations for management.
  • Analysis and reconciliation of key Balance Sheet or P&L accounts in support of monthly financial close.
  • Ensures appropriate cutoff procedures take place on a monthly basis for the accuracy of financial reporting.
Requirements
  • University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Finance or Accounting (MBA, CMA a plus but not required).
  • Requires (4-6) years related experience.
  • Intermediate English level.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment performing cost accounting duties is preferred.
  • Inventory accounting experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Experience with JD Edwards software is preferred.
  • The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions is required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The skills to work independently as well as in a team environment, and handle several tasks simultaneously is required.
  • The capacity to identify, recommend and implement operational improvements is required.
