About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at the Almare Luxury Collection Isla Mujeres Adult All-Inclusive in Mexico.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation of dishes, and leading a high-performing kitchen team. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook special meals, substituting items as needed while maintaining food logs and monitoring inventory.
  • Regulate oven temperatures, pull frozen food for refrigeration, and ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnish.
  • Communicate with colleagues during busy periods, inform the Chef of excess food, and update staff on menu specials and stock levels.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' related work experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
  • Degree from a technical, trade, or vocational school, or equivalent experience.

  • A highly competitive salary of approximately $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
