Shellscripting - Cobol Developer

Job Summary

Manpower S.A. De C.V is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Shellscripting - Cobol Developer. This role is responsible for providing engineering support which may include, but is not limited to, data engineering, security engineering, front-end engineering, devsecops, scheduling, and user experience engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, development, and maintenance of software aiming for customer/user experience as a key objective.
• Contribute actively to Technology Engineering Practice by sharing knowledge aligned to best practices and learnings.
• Drive adherence to all standards and policies within the area of Technology Engineering.
• Delivery and support of applications related to infrastructure and architecture to optimize data storage and consumption across the bank, including addressing functional and non-functional requirements relevant to data in large applications.
• Design and develop applications for internal and external users focusing on the interface and front-end usability.
• Avoid security risks by adopting and implementing security controls for the protection of internal and external systems, networks, products, and services.
• Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
• Provide support in post-implementation for resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service.
• Design and implement service resilience and service sustainability for all software solutions delivered, adhering to the change management process.
• Stay up-to-date on current tools, technologies, and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, and data residency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant controls and standards.
• Be a role model of positive internal risk and control culture across Technology teams.
• Shape the climate, tone, and environment in which people work.
• Make considered decisions that protect and enhance HSBC values, reputation, and business.
• Oversee the execution and remediation of thematic reviews.
• Adapt to an Agile mindset following agile practices, principles, and values.
