About the Role

We are seeking a skilled AI model trainer and code quality specialist to join our expert annotation team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in creating high-quality training data for cutting-edge generative AI models.

With a strong background in software engineering and experience with C# or C++, you will evaluate the quality of AI-generated code, write robust test cases, and ensure that the code is efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the quality of AI-generated code and provide human-readable summaries of your rationale
  • Solve coding problems and write functional and efficient code
  • Write robust test cases to confirm code works efficiently and effectively
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation rates based on location and experience. In the US, the hourly rate is $50, while in Brazil, it's $25.40 USD/hour. In Egypt, the rate is $14.60 USD/hour, and in the Philippines, it's $24.20 USD/hour.

As an employee, you can work as much as you want, with no upper limit on hours. You'll be paid weekly per hour of work done on the platform.

Contract Length and Flexibility

Our contracts are long-term, with no end date. We expect to have work available for the next 2 years, but you can end the contract at any time if needed.

You'll have flexible schedules, including the ability to take a 3-hour lunch break without penalty. Your pay is calculated based on time spent on the platform, not tracked hours.

Interview Process

The interview process includes an async RLHF code review, followed by a group call to answer questions about onboarding. Finally, you'll complete a simulated production-level task (RLHF task) on the platform.

Requirements and Nice-to-Haves

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a software engineering/software development role
  • Complete fluency in English
  • Able to articulate complex scientific concepts clearly and engagingly
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in writing
  • Solid understanding of grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
  • Proficiency with C# or C++

Nice-to-haves include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
  • Proficiency in working with one or more additional programming languages
  • Recognized accomplishments or contributions to the coding community or in projects
  • Proven analytical skills with an ability to approach problems creatively
  • Adept communication skills, especially when understanding and discussing project requirements
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest coding advancements and best practices
  • Enthusiasm for teaching AI models and experience with technical writing
