**Your Role:**
As a Scada Systems Support Specialist, you will provide technical support for SCADA systems in oil and gas operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues before they occur.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize process control and data management.
- Managing and providing data access/communication between field devices and SCADA systems.
- Configuring, programming, and deploying SCADA software components, including HMI's, alarm windows, and historians.
- Documenting system configurations and changes made to support system operations.
**Your Profile:**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Ignition Core Certification or Ignition Gold Certification is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong command of English.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Ignition SCADA systems.
- Experience with Ignition Gateway Setup, including OPC-UA and device connections to Ignition, database connections, and configuration.
- Experience with SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Ignition Designer, creating and configuring windows, tags, alarms, scripts, and UDT's.
- Experience with Ignition Edge and Cirrus Link module is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, and VLAN's.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
