Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a strong foundation of knowledge around AWS cloud services and the cloud ecosystem.
  • Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS.
  • Assist with training sessions for customers considering or already using AWS.
  • Collaborate with experienced solutions architects to craft and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Technical degree desired; Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly; ability to think abstractly.
  • English fluent, written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services, such as Elastic Compute Cloud, Elastic Block Storage, and Simple Storage Service.
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Experience with solution-selling methodologies.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate certifications desired. Other public cloud provider's certifications are also welcome.
