The Senior Quality Assurance Supervisor provides leadership and supervisory responsibility for a medium-sized operational/administrative team(s) of clerical/support employees. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of procedures and concepts within their technical/subject area and a basic knowledge of other areas to understand how they relate to their own area.
Key Responsibilities
- Improves process efficiencies in support of unit objectives.
- Develops and implements quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality results.
- Provides guidance and direction to team members on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
- Evaluates and resolves exceptional/unusual situations.
- Deals with variable quality issues with potentially broader business impact.
- Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and adequate staffing.
- Ensures the quality of tasks provided by self and others on the team.
- Impacts the team and closely related work teams by influencing decisions through advice or facilitating services; accountable for end results.
Requirements
- Full supervisory responsibilities, including duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
