About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Privacy Officer to join our team at ZF, a global technology company supplying advanced mobility products and systems. As a Data Privacy Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our Electronics & ADAS division with national and international data privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Data Protection Management System within our Electronics & ADAS division.
  • Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for the division's legal entities and collaborate with existing DPOs.
  • Provide guidance and support to our business units on data privacy matters, including data protection impact assessments and records of processing activities.
  • Assess new digital business projects and processing operations for data privacy requirements.
  • Support our business units in implementing data privacy solutions and responding to personal data breaches and data subjects' requests.
  • Promote a culture of data privacy across our division and educate our business units on their data privacy obligations.
  • Contribute to the further development of data privacy within ZF Group.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in law, business, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional data privacy experience in an international environment.
  • In-depth understanding of international data privacy regulatory environments, particularly the EU GDPR.
  • Understanding of data-driven businesses and AI, IT systems, and cloud environments.
  • Ability to balance business needs with data privacy compliance.
  • Fluent English skills; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
