About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. as a Labor Planning and Operations Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing labor and capacity plans for our transportation operations, ensuring the efficient execution of our business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Labor and Capacity Plans: Create and implement labor and capacity plans for our transportation operations, ensuring alignment with our business strategies and goals.
  • Monitor and Analyze Metrics: Continuously monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for process and system improvements, and partner with internal teams to implement changes.
  • Transportation Operations Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in transportation operations, including supply chain management concepts, forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics.
  • Technical and Problem-Solving Skills: Utilize exceptional technical, problem-solving, and communication skills to influence business and technical audiences, and develop practical and simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Project Management: Define projects, collect requirements, design process and system solutions, write detailed functional specifications, and coordinate efforts to scope, schedule, and analyze cost/benefit of feature selection.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with data and technology teams to develop new tools and systems to support business growth, and communicate results throughout the organization.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate comfort working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment, and be flexible to work overnight shifts and/or weekends if needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ Years of Program or Project Management Experience: Proven track record of managing programs or projects, with a focus on labor planning and operations.
  • Knowledge of Excel and Supply Chain Management Concepts: Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, and in-depth knowledge of supply chain management concepts, including forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Relevant degree in a field such as business administration, operations management, or supply chain management.
  • English Language Proficiency: B2+ level of English language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Principles and DMAIC Methodology: Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology, with experience in owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • SQL, Visual Basic, or Other Programming Languages: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, or other programming languages.
