About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Crime Risk Management Specialist to join our Business Risk Control Lead Team for Global Financial Crime and Customer Protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis for potential issues and closed incidents across Global Financial Crime and Customer Protection programs, expanding knowledge of their processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with other Business Risk and Control Leads and business owners to align on ownership and remediation plans for both GFCCP and upstream issues.
  • Engage with Second Line of Defense Teams as part of Issue Management & Remediation Planning.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the Business Risk and Control Leads role in the Control Environment and PayPal's Risk Taxonomy.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to drive fruitful discussions with internal and external stakeholders to devise and execute on remediation plans.
  • Problem-solving abilities, with the ability to deep-dive problem statements to identify root causes.
  • Attention to detail, proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable reviewing and interpreting policies and procedures.
