Job Summary

The Engineering Services Specialist at ODL, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data entry into Oracle. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are structured and configured correctly, and will manage all newly created and updated Bill of Material (BOM) structure and Item Master data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage data entry into Oracle, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information
  • Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Planning, Marketing, and Customer Service/Sales teams to ensure products are structured and configured correctly
  • Manage all newly created and updated BOM structure and Item Master data
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to Purchasing and Planning teams
  • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the engineering department
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Services Database Technician to implement PCPs and BOM creation/changes
Requirements
  • Expertise in Oracle, Filemaker Pro, and the MS Office Suite
  • Multitasking and ability to handle multiple projects on time, meeting deadlines and commitments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized and able to excel at multi-tasking
  • Detail-oriented and able to identify and resolve issues
Working Conditions

This is a first-shift position, working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
