Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a high school degree and at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix. Computer-building background experience is preferred, and A+ certification is a plus. Specific Manufacturer certification and/or training as required, i.e. EMC, Dell, Cisco, Microsoft, COMPTIA, and NETWORKPLUS is also advantageous.

The Technical Support Specialist will work in a highly directed environment, performing repair activities such as replaceable unit swapping, image loading, and unit testing. Assignments may include Private Label Services Support, Transformation Services calls, installing and servicing PCs, laptops, MTC, STC, and PC, laptops, MTC, STC, peripherals, and/or electronic equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Takes service calls and performs incident-specific activities as directed by Help Desk, Service Desk, or script.
  • Performs routine installs, moves, adds, and changes as part of a directed team, including complex desktop and laptop break fix work, whole unit replacement, simple desktop printer fixes, load software with a script, and scripted image loading, unit diagnostics, and replaceable unit swapping.
  • Performs troubleshooting by running basic diagnostics and performs basic module replacement on PCs, servers, and peripherals.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor, and dress.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction throughout and ensures client-specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system.
Requirements

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Location: Mexico
