Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to lead our product development, manufacturing launch, and mass production efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute audits of design projects to ensure compliance with our Product Creation Process.
  • Identify and manage product/project risk, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Facilitate the creation of the Manufacturing Requirements Manual (MRM) from engineering team input.
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturability and Engineering Analysis (DFMEA) sessions.
  • Identify, correct, and escalate issues that may increase product level risk to Jabil, including product safety, quality, and reliability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in manufacturing launch and train key workcell personnel.
  • Audit manufacturing against the MRM.
  • Analyze key metrics, including supplier issues, manufacturing yields, and fall-out, component failures, ongoing reliability test results, field failures, and customer complaints to assess and quantify risk.
  • Continually identify and reduce risk.
  • Act as the conduit for sustaining engineering requests.
  • Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security and safety policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five years of experience.
  • Quality Certification.
  • Expertise in DOE, SPC, xFMEA, gage R&R, Project Audits, 8D, and other ASQ and 6-sigma principles.
  • Understanding and use of Agile and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel.
Language Skills

You will need to be able to:

  • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills

You will need to be able to:

  • Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Reasoning Ability

You will need to be able to:

  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Demands
