**About the Role**

Microsoft Experiences & Devices Group is driving the development of new hardware solutions that bring innovative experiences to users. The Device Quality organization supports this objective by providing effective Electrical Failure Analysis solutions that enhance customer experience and drive product improvements.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Manage the Juarez Device Analysis Lab operations, including process creation and maintenance.

• Establish and maintain communication links between Redmond and Juarez lab technical resources.

• Audit and maintain the accuracy of field quality bugs to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Set up and maintain field quality bug pull-down categories and area paths.

• Develop and maintain PowerBi reports from data sources.

• Roll up and summarize campaigns, Extended Consumer Testing (ECT), and Early Warning Program (EWP) data.

• Conduct failure analysis of unknown or unexpected failures.

• Develop new tools and capabilities to improve debug efficiency.

• Support failure analysis on repair line failures.

• Train and guide technicians and engineers on new processes.

• Collaborate with Development, Post Launch Engineering (PLE) hardware and software teams to coordinate battery debug analysis.

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent discipline.

• 3 years of experience in electrical debugging and failure isolation techniques.

• Ability to perform independent debug of complex failures requiring isolation of an electrical fault pertaining to a subsystem or component.

• Thorough understanding of typical PC interfaces such as USB, MIPI, DDR, PCIe, etc.

• Experience with manipulating data and reporting in a PowerBi format.

• Proficient understanding of communication protocols (SPI, PCIEX, I2C, SATA, USB, etc.).

• Knowledge of Electrical Lab Equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, TDR, I-V Curve tracer, Data Acquisition system).

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Ability to document comprehensive reports of findings and present them to different groups.

• Proactive individual with good interpersonal skills and effective communication.

• Eager to learn new processes and debugging techniques.
