Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Steward to join our team at Elanco. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our customer master database, ensuring seamless interactions with internal departments and external agents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Elanco AH Customer Master Database, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Act as a point of contact for agents, ensuring customer records are correct and ensuring agent compliance.
  • Request and maintain Animal Health Numbers (AHN) for all accounts within the Elanco AH Customer Master Database.
  • Interact with agents, Elanco Account Services, Credit, Information Systems, Accounting, Distribution, and Third-party vendors to resolve customer master, pricing, and order/invoice issues.
  • Adhere to and complete all standard operating procedures and rules established for SAP and the MDRS.
  • Process Data Change Requests (DCRs) submitted by sales reps, customer service, and other data stewards.
  • Research, validate, and properly identify the appropriate customer classification to ensure accuracy of customer master data records and financial transactions.
  • Work closely with third-party agents and internal Elanco personnel across multiple departments, including Account Services, Information Systems, Credit, Accounting, Tax, and Distribution.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other team members.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma with a minimum of four years of successful business experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy are essential.
  • Experience and aptitude in data entry are required.
  • Proficient verbal and written skills, as well as excellent phone etiquette, are necessary.
  • Advanced English language skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to work independently and exercise good sound judgment is desirable.
