Job Title: Engineering or Manufacturing Recruiter

This is a remote opportunity to join our team at 1840 & Company, a global leader in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and remote talent solutions. We are seeking a skilled Engineering or Manufacturing Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a range of roles within our client base.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for roles in engineering, manufacturing, production, supply chain, IT, accounting & finance, and professional services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their hiring needs, company culture, and job requirements.
  • Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings, coordinate interviews, and manage the selection process to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates.
  • Manage the offer process, including salary negotiations and contract terms, to ensure successful placements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities and provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and progress.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in recruiting for direct hire roles, preferably in the Northeast US region.
  • Strong understanding of industries including defense/aerospace, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and mechanical manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and placing candidates for roles in engineering, manufacturing, production, supply chain, IT, accounting & finance, and professional services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in recruitment software and tools, with a solid understanding of best practices in candidate sourcing and placement.
  • Fluent in English (C1 level or equivalent).
  • Must be outgoing, adaptable, and organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
