About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to join our team at Qualifinds. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users of our mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Server-Side Logic Development: Develop and maintain all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
  2. Database Management: Define and maintain the central database, ensuring data integrity and security.
  3. Front-End Integration: Integrate front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application, requiring a strong understanding of front-end technologies.
  4. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend development.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
  • Experience with server-side templating languages and CSS preprocessors.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
  • Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
  • Creating database schemes that represent and support the company's business processes.
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub.
  • Excellent communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written) and interpersonal skills.
