We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Terex Corporation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the quality of our suppliers and ultimately, our products.
About the Role
- This position will be responsible for implementing assessments to develop suppliers and ensuring they meet our quality standards.
- The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of incoming inspection and supplier quality techniques, as well as experience with quality tools such as 8D reports, Pareto charts, control charts, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
- Able to establish strategies to improve supplier PPM's through disciplined workshops and maintain continuous improvement at suppliers' performance.
- Maintain all ISO/IATF/AWS requirements and ensure KPI's meet expected targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supplier assessments plans to keep KPI's according to expected goals.
- Establish a quality management system (ISO9001) and ensure strong knowledge of ASTM norms.
- Conduct quality audits including process/product audit, self-assessment, and incoming audit.
- Work closely with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Conversational English skills
- Knowledge of fabrication processes involving welding and steel cut phases
- Able to establish strategies to improve supplier PPM's through disciplined workshops
- Quality management system knowledge (ISO9001) & strong knowledge of ASTM norms
