Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Hsbc. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and managing market and counterparty risks impacting the HSBC Group.

Main Responsibilities
  • Risk Monitoring: Verify daily the observance of specific limits for traded risk per business unit, risk factor, and other established criteria.
  • Report Generation: Generate daily and monthly reports of exposure to Market Risk, through the exposure measurement of each market risk factor against the limits established.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and improve control measures to identify important movements of portfolios in less time, optimizing analysis quality and report information.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Rotate in different roles of the areas to create a standard and integral knowledge among the working group.
  • Documentation: Document in detail the processes carried out in the market risk area of control, ensuring transparency in report generation.
  • Compliance: Comply with internal normative guidelines, SOX, and current regulations.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience in a similar role and knowledge of regulatory requirements are highly desirable.
