**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading high-visibility cross-discipline projects for Wiser. Your primary focus will be on driving delivery across multiple projects to build out our product suite.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and track success with metrics, using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive key decisions.
- Embrace modern empowered agile delivery practices and mentor project team members on agile best practices.
- Make data-driven decisions and work across multiple stakeholders and delivery teams, balancing priorities and dependencies.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues, and collaborate with the project team to assure compliance with Wiser engineering standards and guardrails.
- Communicate clearly, ensuring everyone from engineering leadership to individual team members has a clear understanding of project status, progress, milestones, risks, and issues.
- Guide teams to create and manage realistic and committed project schedules, taking into consideration deadlines, dependencies, and resources when making changes and decisions to schedule.
- Ensure the project team shares a common understanding of the project and take decisive action as soon as a problem is identified to minimize its impact and establish a higher level of trust.
**Requirements**
- 8+ years of professional experience in project management of Scrum-based software delivery teams.
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Prior success delivering cross-project initiatives and working directly with senior technology leaders.
- Bias for action and experience working in a multi-time zone project.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to structure and break down large open-ended problems into smaller, more tractable problems.
- Proficient in gathering and presenting data in ways that drive effective decision making.
- Strong understanding of product-driven engineering and agile delivery practices.
- Outcome-focused and success-oriented, with an agile mindset and excellent project management skills.
