Key Responsibilities
- Quality Objectives and Deliverables
- Develop and implement quality objectives and deliverables that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Ensure that all quality deliverables are executed on time and to the appropriate level of detail.
- Production and Service Quality
- Monitor and report production and service quality scores, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Customer Relationships
- Develop and maintain key customer relationships to ensure successful execution of our launches.
- Internal Relationships
- Develop and maintain key internal relationships to remove roadblocks and resolve issues for successful execution of our launches.
- Resource Management
- Develop and manage quality resource budgets and staffing needs.
- Participate in the interview process and add resources as required.
- Quoting and Program Reviews
- Participate in the quoting process to ensure that quality resources and objectives are considered prior to receiving the business award.
- Actively participate in program reviews and phase exit reviews.
- Risk Mitigation and Advanced Quality Planning
- Mitigate risk with corrective actions for any issues with yellow or red status.
- Develop and implement advanced quality planning, including familiarity with AIAG Advanced Quality Planning and Control Plan standard.
- Statistical Analysis and Problem-Solving
- Apply advanced statistical concepts, design of experiments, and problem-solving methodology.
- Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
- Ensure required safety audits are complete for you and your team.
- Report accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies.
- Inform the supervisor of known HSE&E conditions that could adversely affect other team members, assets, or the public.
- Environmental Management System Compliance
- Follow and promote environmental management system compliance and commitment to resource conservation.
- Accident Investigation and Documentation
- Document injury reports and complete statements as needed.
- Participate in the accident investigation team.
Requirements
Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as quality assurance, engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices, including ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply advanced statistical concepts and design of experiments.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
