We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at P3-Group. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of different types of testing and experience with automated testing tools.
About the Role:The Junior Mobile Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for helping to triage automated test failures, ensuring regression testing happens, and working with Engineering and Product partners to maintain and tune our test suites. This role involves supporting releases by ensuring in-depth testing occurs and executing exploratory testing to push our apps to their limits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help triage automated test failures and ensure defects get routed to proper teams
- Ensure regression testing happens and results are communicated to teams
- Work with Engineering and Product partners to maintain and tune our test suites
- Support releases by ensuring in-depth testing occurs
- Execute exploratory testing to push our apps to their limits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Excellent understanding of different types of testing such as Accessibility Testing, Black Box Testing, and Interactive Testing
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and industry's best QA practices
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Experience developing and testing products using extreme agile/pair/mobbed programming in a test-driven development (TDD)
- Experience using advanced software configuration management (source control, DevOps, continuous integration/continuous deployment, etc.)
- Experience building and shipping production grade software or services
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include law benefits, insurance for major medical expenses, life insurance, dental insurance, food bonus, and increased Christmas bonus after 3-month trial.
