Maintenance Operator

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operator to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment, to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our assets.
• Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner, communicating effectively to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, using your knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and pneumatic/electronic systems to resolve problems efficiently.
• Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to ensure they are in good working order and report any issues to management.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inventory management and requisitioning of parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a maintenance or facilities role, with a focus on equipment operation and repair.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
