Job Overview
The Global Supply Chain Country Director at Micron Technology is responsible for overseeing the strategic leadership and operational management of the company's supply chain within a specific country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct the country's supply chain strategy in alignment with global objectives.
- Team Development: Lead and develop the supply chain team to achieve performance KPIs.
- End-to-End Operations: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with global counterparts to implement best practices and process standardization.
- Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to forecast demand and optimize the supply chain network.
- Operational Insights: Provide key operational insights to the broader Micron organization based in Guadalajara across Engineering, Business Operations, Manufacturing Operations, and IT.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Experience: Extensive experience in global supply chain management at a directorial level.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in supply chain operations, strong leadership skills, and experience managing diverse teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of international trade, logistics, and supply chain software.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
