Position Overview: The Treasury Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing and analyzing the LATAM Cash Flow Forecasting process, overseeing a substantial portfolio of approximately US$ 5 Billion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aggregate cash flow data from all LATAM regions, collaborating with various departments involved in the Treasury Cycle (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable) on a daily basis, ensuring a comprehensive view across multiple currencies for a three-month horizon.
  • Deliver timely and accurate information to Local Treasurers, the Treasury Manager for South America, and the Treasury Senior Manager to meet the company's payment obligations without delays.
  • Act as a reliable source of cash level forecasts for Local Treasurers, LATAM Cash Leaders, and Treasury Managers, facilitating timely communication regarding foreign exchange trading needs to meet funding requirements in the appropriate currencies.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of local operations to assess all operational expenses and proactively identify any exceptional payments or collections in LATAM accounts to incorporate into the cash flow forecasts.
  • Support corporate objectives aimed at minimizing financial costs, ensuring timely cash funding, and providing high-quality information to finance teams.
  • Monitor discrepancies in payments and collections, soliciting feedback from Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable to update cash flow forecasts accordingly.
  • Consolidate, prepare, and lead Regional Cash Councils, proactively addressing potential cash shortages through timely analysis based on input from all departments involved in cash inflows and outflows, serving as the primary liaison between the Treasury Senior Manager, Treasury Manager for South America, Local Treasurers, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Prepare comprehensive Treasury Reports for Local Treasurers, SSC Treasury Manager for South America, SSC Treasury Senior Manager, Finance Directors, and Corporate Treasury.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or equivalent experience (minimum of 3 years) in cash management within regional or national treasury environments.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in cash management or cash flow forecasting, showcasing a high level of accuracy and strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with local treasurers, peers, and management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of finance planning, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Treasury operations, with the capability to manage a multiregional and multicurrency cash flow of US$5 Billion.
  • Exceptional intuitive skills to foresee significant deviations and request information promptly to navigate cash situations effectively.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and other business software.
  • Excellent listening and customer service abilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese is preferred.
