**Job Summary**

Aptiv is seeking a highly skilled Plant Financial Manager to oversee all aspects of financial and accounting functions for the site. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for administering plant controllers and ensuring the site's financial goals and initiatives are aligned with company values and strategic objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and the management accounting/reporting process.
  • Advises the management team on all financial/budgetary requirements and develops financial goals in partnership with plant and corporate leadership.
  • Ensure that plant goals and initiatives are developed in line with company values, strategic goals, and business plans.
  • Reviews control procedures over accounting and financial activities.
  • Provides guidance to ensure that internal accounting controls are in place to protect company assets.
  • Ensures an adequate system of internal control is maintained, and that general ledger accounts are correctly stated, maintains SOX compliance.
  • Oversees preparation of the plant's financial reporting.
  • Analyze and report manufacturing efficiency variances and determine corrective action requirements.
  • Ensures items are correctly classified and all reporting is prepared in accordance with GAAP.
  • Seek continuous improvement and use of best practices throughout the organization.
  • Actively manages career development of direct reports, reviews performance, provides coaching and counseling as required to increase performance.

**Requirements**

  • 8+ years of accounting and finance experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA or local equivalent preferred.
  • Spanish and English required, fluent verbally and written.
  • Excellent analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, with plant and finance leaders.
  • High level of integrity and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
