**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Technical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions for R&D projects, including electrical, mechanical, and fabrication aspects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in food, pharmaceutical, or personal care industries.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement technical solutions for R&D projects, including electrical, mechanical, and fabrication aspects.
  • Test, inspect, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, install, fabricate, set up, and operate pilot plant equipment as needed.
  • Provide training for Conagra employees and contractors as required.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technical developments related to R&D or pilot plant activities.
  • Perform and record preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Initiate and implement modifications to reduce maintenance costs and increase pilot plant capabilities.
  • Operate a forklift and pallet jack to shuttle equipment between the pilot plant and the corporate warehouse.

**Requirements**

  • Technical degree in a related field is highly desired.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field is required.
  • Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or personal care industries is desired.
  • Experience in one or more of the following maintenance trades is required: machine and equipment repair, metal equipment/part fabrication, welding, metal lathe, equipment troubleshooting/diagnostics, electrical (PLCs and controls), and/or CAD/CAM (SolidWorks).
  • People, equipment, and project management experience is desired.
  • USDA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA knowledge is desired.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

**Physical Demands**

  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds occasionally.
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments for periodic extended work days, including standing for long periods, climbing ladders, loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, and slippery conditions.
