Key Responsibilities

The Role

This position is pivotal in managing the Advertising & Marketing budget at PepsiCo Foods Canada. You will oversee budget tracking and expenditures while ensuring the execution and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) within the procure-to-pay (P2P) process.

Success in this role requires adeptness in navigating a matrixed reporting structure and collaborating with various functions. Building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders will be crucial. A results-oriented mindset, excellent organizational abilities, analytical acumen, and the capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative partner with Marketing and Finance teams are essential.

Your Contributions

As a Budget Supervisor for Advertising & Marketing (A&M), your responsibilities will include:

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide exceptional A&M budget management services to PepsiCo Foods Canada, adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs). Serve as the primary liaison with the Sector: Manage workflow from the Sector to A&M Budget Analysts, ensuring service delivery and overseeing quality control. Support the Sector by delivering accurate and timely information to facilitate informed decision-making and overall A&M budget administration. Lead A&M training sessions, process enhancements, change management initiatives, and governance activities with the Sector. Regularly supply A&M reports to key stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and providing insights to drive budget management efforts. Oversee the year-end A&M process for the Sector, which includes conducting refresher training for budget owners, maintaining regular communications, ensuring proper documentation of accruals, prepaid assets, and ongoing budget tracking.

PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Effectively manage and develop two direct reports to deliver excellent service to Finance and Marketing stakeholders through timely communication and resolution of issues. Monitor A&M budget coordination processes to ensure compliance with SLAs. Qualifications

Who Are We Seeking?

Education

A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or Business is preferred. Proficient in advanced computer applications: Excel, PowerPoint, SAP. Fluency in English is required. Skilled in collaborating across cross-functional teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with influencing capabilities. Demonstrated teamwork and leadership/coaching skills. Strong technical, problem-solving, planning, and analytical abilities.
