The Trade Compliance Specialist at Sensata Technologies plays a vital role in ensuring the company's compliance with fiscal, customs, and legal regulations in Mexico and other countries for import and export purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the application of regulations and duties preferences in customs declarations and related paperwork.
  • Analyze and execute processes related to import and export operations.
  • Assure correct invoicing processes in Annex 24.
  • Ensure the correct Customs regime in import and export operations according to material type and Purchase Order.
  • Provide Customs Brokers with correct and complete required paperwork.
  • Assure data registration reliability, integrity, and accuracy.
  • Optimize customs operation costs and address potential issues.
  • Maintain open communication with the Trade Compliance team and other Sensata departments.
  • Stay updated on regulations, best practices, automation, techniques, and performance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Security, Human Resources, and Trade Compliance procedures, policies, goals, and standards.
