Pacifica Continental seeks a highly experienced and skilled Senior Financial Director to oversee and direct all aspects of the finance function. This key role will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of sound accounting procedures and controls, as well as timely, reliable, and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the hotel's accounting department to ensure the effective implementation of accounting procedures and controls.
  • Responsible for all personnel matters related to the finance function, including hiring, training, and mentoring of employees.
  • Oversee the hotel's accounting systems and ensure full utilization of system capabilities.
  • Provide financial input on all significant business decisions.
  • Oversee departmental costs throughout the hotel and provide leadership in cost control and reduction.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide the management team with early warnings of deviations from budget or forecast.
  • Proactively respond to business developments and assist the management team in taking appropriate action to address changing circumstances.
  • Oversee that all reporting requirements and information requests are met in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the consolidation of financial information for reporting to banks and joint venture partners.
  • Oversee the compilation of financial information for reporting to accountants and tax authorities.
  • Oversee Food & Beverage accounting and reporting and monitor relationships and responses.
  • Responsible for establishing relationships with banks and monitoring compliance with all loan agreements and covenants.
  • Responsible for managing and supporting the annual budget process.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in the hotel/hospitality industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience in the Hospitality industry.
  • Proficient in complex accounting software, Microsoft applications, and relevant computer tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
