The Learning and Development Specialist will play a key role in supporting the planning, implementation, and coordination of training and development activities at Ford Motor Company. This role will be responsible for assessing enterprise-wide training needs, providing training documentation, and conducting performance tracking and training delivery.

**Responsibilities:**

• Conduct daily operations, including assessing training needs and providing training documentation.

• Collaborate with teams to implement training programs and ensure compliance with policies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records and data related to Learning and Development matters.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of work experience with a Master's degree or 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development or a related field.

• Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), SHRM Certified Professional, or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance.

**Work Requirements:**

Involves occasional lifting of no more than 10 pounds at a time. Work is performed primarily in a seated position and entails no significant stooping, standing, climbing, walking, etc. Many sedentary jobs require good use of the hands and fingers for repetitive hand-finger actions. Working conditions occur within low to moderate noise levels related to the use of standard office or classroom equipment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Coordinate and work with all departments to conduct needs assessments and identify skill/knowledge gaps.

• Participate in the testing of new training programs and provide valuable feedback to ensure successful future training deployment initiatives.

• Monitor and evaluate the progress of trainees and the effectiveness of training using both formal and informal, written, and other evaluation tools.

• Participate in the delivery of enterprise-wide Learning and Development special projects to identify skill gaps, training needs, and develop new training delivery methods.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors for formulating effective programs for all types of employee training and skills needs.

• Deliver Learning and Development specific communications and policies related to training facilitation and delivery as per established processes.

• Update existing HR-specific policies related to employee training and development, etc. if necessary to ensure compliance and consistency with relevant laws and companywide policies.

• Recommend changes to course material and training manuals to meet specific training needs.

• Support the development of engaging training materials in various formats such as e-modules, instructor-led, webinars, and blended learning to meet business needs and in alignment with best practices and training trends to maximize engagement and learning retention.

• Maintain documentation of prior training schedules and records, training performance, and reports the progress of employees during training periods across the enterprise.

• Assist in the maintenance of the learning management system, review and evaluate system effectiveness, and recommend the implementation of system enhancements.
