Financial Accounting Specialist

The Financial Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in providing timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to support the company's financial accuracy and compliance. This position is responsible for working closely with the Finance team to produce, review, and analyze financial information, as well as providing support to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger duties.

• Assist with business process improvement and collaborate with Finance to produce, review, and analyze financial information.
• Responsible for daily general ledger review and reconciliation, financial reporting, and performance analysis for assigned functional areas.
• Investigate and report any inconsistencies or improprieties to the Controller.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of general accounting principles and internal controls, and apply them appropriately.
• Provide information for internal and external audits.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Report and analyze AR/AP accounts.
• Verify and approve invoicing from external storage vendors and maintain records.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis for accounting projects, such as balance sheet analysis upon request.
• Approve and post journal entries in VAI.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Accounting Analyst with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 2-3 years of financial/general accounting analysis experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced MS Excel skills, and a strong work ethic. Additionally, the candidate should have a high level of discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
