This role will be responsible for overseeing all general accounting activities, including transactional processing and reconciliation processes. The successful candidate will lead and participate in the monthly accounting close, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate and statutory policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US GAAP and IFRS, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in international environments. They will possess excellent accounting and fiscal skills, with a strong understanding of corporate income taxes and statutory reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the annual submission of U.S. Tax Data Collection Package Request for NWE (HFM entities), reviewing and approving submissions prepared by L8 Coord GL Rpt OCF Tax, and managing the process of US GAAP pension accounting.
They will also support the statutory accountant on external (KPMG) audit, preparation of annual accounts and financial statements, review of correctness of VAT declarations prepared by Shared Service Center (SSC), and (local) Corporate Income Tax declaration.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, ability to work closely together with SSC, and strong functional communication skills. They will be flexible and proactive, with good Excel knowledge and computer literacy.
