About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our Group Finance team at The Clorox Company. As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a key role in applying data science techniques and process automation to support financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visualization and Reporting: Create visualizations in Power BI (dashboards, charts) to communicate insights and support the adoption of new Elevate systems by leveraging visualization and reporting tools.
  • Process Automation Support: Work on automating routine tasks using programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and gain exposure to optimizing data workflows and reducing manual effort.
  • Data Preparation and Analysis: Gather raw data from various sources, prepare for analysis in usable format, and collaborate with senior team members to identify trends and business insights.
  • Database Maintenance: Support the maintenance of financial databases, ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility, and assist in updating and validating data entries.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of programming (Python, R), experience with data visualization tools (Power BI) and Power Query, and eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with stakeholders and project teams, ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and remote team, and be open to learning new technologies and processes.
  • Analytical Mindset: Detail-oriented and eager to explore data, ability to learn complex statistical techniques, and Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or related fields.
