About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect and Technical Advisor to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales teams, lead architects, and operations teams throughout the entire lifecycle of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the single point of contact for architecture and assessment of all customer change requests and contract renewals within the LAC region.
  2. Collaborate with Lead Architects on deals involving large, complex HEC landscapes.
  3. Conduct detailed technical workshops and meetings with customers to plan and implement future Cloud architecture.
  4. Work closely with SAP solution architects and customers to map planned solution architecture into the HEC reference architecture.
  5. Provide guidance to customers on HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security, and Compliance, as well as networks.
  6. Partner with BID teams to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams during change requests and renewals.
  7. Own technical discussions with customers on HEC topics and orchestrate expertise from the HEC organization as required.
Requirements
  • Good proficiency in customer communications and presentations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university.
  • Good understanding of SAP technologies, with a focus on SAP Cloud solutions.
  • Broad exposure to SAP product portfolio, including S/4 HANA, Business Suite, BW, and BOBI.
  • Good understanding of platform stacks, including storage, virtualization, hardware, and networks, as well as Application Management Services (AMS).
  • Ability and willingness to undertake customer-related travel on short notice.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of customer-facing SAP Technology experience in large-scale customer environments.
  • Experience with Cloud hosting providers and data centers is a significant advantage.
  • Pre-sales experience with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a commercial environment.
