Job Overview

Your Contribution:

Engage in the development and maintenance of enterprise-level e-commerce platforms (HCL Commerce/IBM WebSphere Commerce) utilizing Java, JavaScript, SQL, and RESTful APIs. Spearhead customization initiatives for essential HCL Commerce subsystems (catalog, search, order, promotions, payments) across all application layers tailored to client specifications. Architect, develop, test, and integrate B2C e-commerce web solutions to guarantee exceptional performance and user satisfaction. Collaborate on REST API development and integrate with enterprise services to deliver resilient and scalable solutions. Excel in an Agile setting, working cohesively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to produce high-quality outcomes. Leverage your expertise in front-end web architecture, user interactions, and back-end systems to build responsive and effective web applications. Establish and manage servers and databases, ensuring peak functionality and performance. Clearly document technical solutions and troubleshoot issues to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective resolutions. Mentor junior developers, promoting a collaborative and supportive team culture. Lead the transition of legacy systems to contemporary container-based microservice architectures.

Required Qualifications

Your Expertise:

Over 3 years of practical experience with HCL Commerce V9.0 and V9.1 application development. More than 5 years of direct experience leading development projects to customize core HCL Commerce subsystems such as catalog, search, order, promotions, and payments based on client needs. Significant experience in the design, development, testing, and integration of B2C e-commerce web applications. Previous involvement in designing and developing REST APIs and integrating with enterprise services. Experience in creating servers and databases for optimal functionality. Proven ability to troubleshoot technical challenges, perform root cause analysis, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues. Experience in effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Must be capable of documenting and demonstrating technical solutions through comprehensive documentation, diagrams, and code comments. Familiarity with the migration of legacy applications to modern container-based microservice architectures. Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficient in essential front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and knowledgeable in frameworks such as AngularJS, React, and Ember. Skilled in server-side programming languages like Java, Python, or .NET. Knowledgeable in database technologies including MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail to deliver precise solutions.
