E-commerce Support Specialist for HCL Commerce

Job Overview

Your Contribution:

Engage in the development and maintenance of high-performance e-commerce platforms utilizing HCL Commerce and IBM WebSphere Commerce with expertise in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and RESTful APIs. Spearhead customization initiatives for essential HCL Commerce components (catalog, search, order management, promotions, and payment systems) tailored to client specifications. Architect, develop, test, and integrate B2C e-commerce web solutions to guarantee exceptional performance and user satisfaction. Collaborate on RESTful API development and integrate these with enterprise-level services to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Excel in an Agile setting, working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to produce high-quality deliverables. Leverage your knowledge of front-end web architecture, user engagement, and back-end systems to design responsive and functional web applications. Manage server and database environments, ensuring peak performance and reliability. Clearly document technical solutions and troubleshoot issues, conducting root cause analysis for effective remediation. Mentor junior developers, promoting a collaborative and supportive team culture. Lead the transition of legacy systems to contemporary container-based microservice architectures.

Required Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of practical experience with HCL Commerce versions 9.0 and 9.1. At least 5 years of experience leading development projects to customize core HCL Commerce functionalities across various application layers based on client needs. Proven track record in designing, developing, testing, and integrating B2C e-commerce web applications. Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating them with enterprise services. Proficient in creating and managing server and database solutions. Skilled in troubleshooting technical challenges, performing root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions. Strong ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams, with a focus on clear documentation and communication of technical solutions. Experience in migrating legacy applications to modern container-based microservice architectures. Excellent organizational and project management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks. Proficient in core front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiar with frameworks such as AngularJS, React, and Ember. Knowledgeable in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET. Familiar with database technologies including MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB. Strong verbal communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail to deliver accurate solutions.
