Join Our Team at John Deere

We're a global leader in agricultural and construction equipment, and we're looking for a talented General Ledger Accountant to join our team in Mexico. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reports.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and government/statistical information.
  • Examine accounting information, trace and reconcile unusual variances, and perform reconciliations and journal voucher entries.
  • Manage budgets and overhead/expense accounts, and provide accounting guidance to colleagues.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance our financial operations.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or equivalent.
  • Understanding of internal control and its relationship to financial reporting.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functional areas.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and financial modeling.
  • SAP knowledge and experience with unit general ledger activities and/or financial reporting.
