Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for creating a feasible production plan according to customer requirements, considering installed capacity at our facility. You will monitor demand changes and long-term volume scenarios vs capacity installed, able to deliver efficient, effective, and flexible solutions to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure parameters accuracy in SAP for all the materials assigned according to Planning Strategy.
- Ensure shipping compliance and monitor production due dates according to our production plan.
- Perform daily maintenance and set actions needed on exception codes (Machining).
- Ensure timely, accurate, and pertinent escalation of risk to supply engines.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain close and constant communication with key support areas.
- Take ownership of production issues that arise, including BO or any retrofit.
- Support and understand production challenges, implement action plans to secure manufacturing operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Internally).
- Monitor engine backflush, gearbox, and machining confirmation process.
- Take overall responsibility for Obsolescence and Overstock governance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions (BRP benefit mindset).
- Ensure engine production is met and deliveries are made on time, based on the original MRP schedule.
- Work with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to customer meetings and negotiations to ensure demand is met in case of capacity constraints.
- Work closely with the planning team in a hand-to-hand effort to fulfill production requirements.
- Achieve accuracy and maintenance daily of Standard Work Activities.
- Follow BRP values and behaviors.
- Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety-related topics.
- Enforce Quality BRP policy.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business, or similar.
- Min. 2 years' experience in material planner or logistics (similar roles)
Language
- Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
- English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
- Knowledge of French or German is an advantage.
