About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Public Relations and Content Manager to join our team at Corning Optical Communications. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the organization's image, fostering relationships, and conveying key messages to internal and external audiences.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your creativity, writing skills, and project management expertise in developing and executing regional communications plans that support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for various communication channels, including newsletters, press releases, social media posts, blog articles, and internal communications.
  • Social Media Management: Lead our social media presence by creating and curating high-quality, visually appealing content for different platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Spotify.
  • Messaging Strategy: Craft clear and compelling messages that align with our goals, values, and target audience, ensuring consistent messaging across all communication platforms and social media.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive media coverage, preparing and distributing press releases and managing media inquiries.
  • Internal Communication: Assist in the development and execution of internal communication plans to keep employees informed and engaged, supporting town hall meetings, workshops, and other internal events.
  • Crisis Communication: Implement crisis communication plans to manage potential reputational risks, providing timely and accurate information during challenging situations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and community members, fostering positive relationships and addressing their communication needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; 2-4 years of experience.
  • Proficiency: Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with basic understanding and/or experience with ADOBE and social media.
  • Language Skills: Outstanding, accurate, and proven language skills written, verbal, and editing, with attention to detail and English language proficiency.
Competitive Salary

$95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
