**The Role**

We are seeking a talented Market Strategist to drive our company's operations forward. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. Your primary focus will be on demand and planning duties, including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Build and maintain accurate category forecasts through the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, identifying risks and opportunities to the plan and recommending actions to close the gap between forecasted and business targets.

• Provide visibility on past performance, supporting assumptions for outlook, and work closely with the supply team to support portfolio management opportunities, such as ABC analysis and distribution optimization.

• Offer visibility of demand in various time buckets, including weeks, months, and quarters, and collaborate with the supply planner to ensure end-to-end supply chain planning to support top-line sales and business growth.

• Drive and conduct S&OP meetings to address issues and potential risks related to demand, supply, and inventory, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.

• Work closely with the marketing and trade marketing teams on New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) plans, building accurate volume projections into forecasts.

• Jointly manage inventory levels, ensuring quality, inventory turns meet defined targets, and delivering high standards of customer service.

• Provide portfolio and trend analysis to mitigate risks or explore opportunities impacting costs or revenues.

• Participate in NPI/NPD project teams, potentially leading or driving projects to ensure timely launches according to defined schedules and scopes.

• Develop seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customer reactions to promotions and discounts.

• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy.

• Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities, updating customers and sales teams on product availability.

• Maintain inventory levels based on future customer demands, assessing the financial structure and inventory storage capabilities of the business.

• Count and track inventory across multiple locations, anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions.

• Analyze and anticipate market trends to optimize inventory purchases.

• Create inventory reports and present suggestions to the supply chain manager.

• Suggest changes to inventory warehousing to meet increased or reduced demand.

• Track inventory of raw materials and advise the purchasing team.

• Monitor the movement of materials through purchasing, storage, production, and retail distribution.

**Requirements**

• Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory.

• Operate with the highest ethical standards.

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or marketing.

• +2 years of experience as a Demand Planner, Supply Planner, or CPFR Senior.

• Results-oriented, creative, practical, analytical, attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player.

• Demonstrated ability for sound decision-making while working under pressure in critical situations.

• Working knowledge of SAP ECC, Manugistics, JDA, and Microsoft Office.

• Excel advanced level.

• English advanced level.
