Role Overview

You will oversee all technical operations and support teams at the site, ensuring the effective deployment of Haleon’s technological products while aligning business objectives with technology strategies. This position serves as a vital liaison with site leadership and the broader technology organization, reporting directly to the North America Head of Technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive technology strategy and plan for the site that encompasses all necessary activities to fulfill the business vision, considering overall program loading and resource allocation, while aligning with global and divisional strategies.
  • Manage and oversee the execution of technology projects, ensuring the delivery of resources and engagement with global initiatives at the site.
  • Ensure the appropriate design and implementation of site projects and Haleon global products, adhering to established patterns and standards.
  • Collaborate with service providers to monitor performance and drive enhancements to end-to-end technology services that support business operations.
  • Establish and manage on-site technology services, including deskside support and application service areas, to guarantee necessary support is provided.
  • Ensure compliance with technology regulations and maintain audit readiness.
  • Lead the development of site technology strategy, program planning, project management, service management, and risk management processes.
  • Coordinate and manage the technology portfolio roadmap, along with operational and capital expenditures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for managing relationships between technology and senior site stakeholders.
  • Interface with multiple service providers across various geographical locations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance technology services and processes that impact key performance indicators across multiple supply chain sites.
  • Oversee large-scale technology projects at the site.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical or Consumer Healthcare industry, particularly in a manufacturing context, with a solid understanding of GxP/GMP processes.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient technical skills for project development and monitoring.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Regular engagement with the Site Director and senior leadership team.
  • Experience interacting with global technology teams and regional technology teams.

Preferred

  • In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain business strategies and processes.
  • Familiarity with technology strategy planning.
  • Knowledge of effective service management methodologies (e.g., ITIL).
  • Experience in technology project and program management.
  • Understanding of technology project management processes and practices.
  • Broad knowledge of process improvement techniques, including Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with effective technology risk management practices.
  • General knowledge of IT/OT architecture and standards.
  • Detailed understanding of regulatory requirements for technology systems.
  • Strong English language proficiency; fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge in infrastructure, network, and database security.
  • Experience with SAP implementation is desirable.
  • Skills in project management, prioritization, agility, change management, problem-solving, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to manage third-party personnel effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
