Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients through consistent communication to meet both immediate and long-term requirements.
- Manage client expectations while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure accuracy in pricing initiatives.
- Engage in rate matrix evaluations to maintain profitability and competitiveness for key accounts.
- Assist in rate assessments, report generation, and customer presentations for significant bidding opportunities.
- Ensure fulfillment of customer commitments by coordinating with internal teams and executing necessary operational tasks.
- Identify and cultivate new business relationships within the target market.
- Maintain an organized database of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
- Monitor industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities.
- Perform administrative tasks, including sales budget preparation, record-keeping, and expense reporting.
- Consult with clients to address issues and provide ongoing support.
- Coordinate meetings with prospects, sales, and current customers in collaboration with the VP of Sales/CS.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Proven ability to lead teams towards achieving results.
- Demonstrated success in account management, client engagement, pricing strategies, and closing deals.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in sales and account management within the transportation and logistics sector is preferred.
- A recent degree in Marketing or a related business field is required.
- Experience in an analytical role or pricing function is advantageous.
- Ability to comprehend business processing needs and devise innovative technological solutions.
- Experience in B2B sales involving complex transactions is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the sales planning process.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, along with strong interpersonal and customer relations abilities.
- Proficient negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
