Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Program Management Director to oversee company-wide programs. This role involves managing subordinate managers, implementing program management strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction and program success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and direct the activities of the Program Management function.
  • Identify, hire, and train Program Managers, providing guidance on complex tasks.
  • Allocate resources and coordinate workflow among Program Managers.
  • Deliver high-quality products on time, within budget, and with competitive features.
  • Monitor program progress, issue regular reports, and manage individual programs as needed.
  • Communicate with key customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve timely, within-budget results with products and processes that meet or exceed requirements.
  • Clearly articulate program status to senior management and develop creative approaches to address program challenges.
  • Establish project strategy, execute the plan, and measure results.
  • Responsible for making decisions regarding risk management.
  • Maintain project transparency through formal written communications and reporting systems.
  • Anticipate opportunities for proactive solutions and manage conflict situations effectively.
  • Sustain a safe and quality-focused work environment.
  • Oversee the employment cycle, performance management, compensation, training, and development for assigned direct reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements specified by FDA, OSHA, ISO, QS, and governmental agencies.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or plastics engineering or related field with 10-13 years of experience.
  • Master's degree in mechanical or plastics engineering-related field with 7-10 years of experience.
  • Project leadership experience within a manufacturing, development, or research environment.
  • Substantial management experience with human resources responsibilities.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
