This person will lead and coordinate the department's activities involved in payroll calculation and payment, ensuring accuracy of payroll data by verifying employee information, hours worked, and other relevant data. They will also support all SOX and regional audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Manage employees' salaries by processing payroll data accurately on a weekly basis.
- Remit taxes to the relevant authorities by deducting correct taxes from each employee's pay.
- Maintain accurate pre- and post-payroll processing records by developing a mechanism for tracking payroll transactions and employee information.
