Actuarial Reserving Specialist

The Actuarial Reserving Specialist position supports the growth strategy of our business unit by collaborating in actuarial projects. This role focuses on reserving, economic valuation, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate quarterly P&C insurance portfolio reserves, working closely with internal partners (Claims, Underwriting, Pricing, Finance/Accounting)
- Determine pay-out patterns as input parameters for IFRS and solvency calculations
- Prepare internal and external financial reporting and presentations
- Conduct detailed portfolio reviews and analyses
- Provide actuarial support in global projects and growth strategies
- Monitor controls assessments
- Develop data analytics solutions
About the Team:
We determine technical reserves at adequate levels meeting local statutory and IFRS requirements for different regions. We support Swiss Re Group in all actuarial risk management aspects regarding Swiss Reinsurance Company Ltd and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in Mexico and Colombia.
